For families of all sizes and ages, a new must-visit destination has opened in Tampa Bay just in time for our beautiful spring weather. Ananda Farm, located at 579 Ken Hubbard Road in Terra Ceia, just had its grand opening at the end of 2024, unveiling an incredible array of attractions, activities, food and drink, fresh produce, and fun for all ages.

Ananda Farm, originally founded as a community farm, has transformed into an immersive family-friendly adventure park. Just a short drive from Tampa, it offers interactive activities, games, and delicious food and drink, creating an ideal day trip for Tampa Bay residents and visitors alike. With the spring season in full swing, Ananda Farm has also announced an incredible lineup of events and activities to keep guests of all ages entertained. We’re particularly excited to try the real-life Mario Kart experience – Coconut Circuit Trike Track.

There are endless activities that will keep kids and adults alike running, jumping, and playing all day across attractions like the towering Dragon Fruit Lair Tree House, the Passion Fruit Jumping Pads, and Peter’s Pelican Playground. Kids will love additional features, including a hay castle, tug-of-war station, giant bubbles, and much more. Family photo ops are plentiful, with spots like the couch swing, rainbow wall, and chandelier bench.

Date night magic at Ananda Farm

However, this sprawling wonderland isn’t just for the kids. As foodies in the know have discovered, Ananda Farm is a must-visit just for the food and drink. Craft imbibers will love to sip on local brews at The Nest Rooftop Beer Garden while taking in stunning views, or savor incredible wine at Kristy’s Wine Bar, and coffee flights with fresh donuts at The Flour Shop.

And why stop at coffee flights? Pair your food with a beer or wine flight and watch the evening truly take off.

And, of course, guests won’t want to miss the incredible farm-to-table dining. It’s the rare occasion where the table and the farm are on the same ground, providing a level of freshness that legitimately can’t be beat. Chef Nicole partners with local farmers, fishermen, and businesses to create a diverse menu that reflects both creativity and sustainability.

As part of the constantly rotating menu, guests can enjoy seasonal dishes, artisan pizzas (these are can’t-miss), baked brie, and other unique bites that highlight local ingredients. The cocktails at lunch or dinner are also unmissable. Each drink is intentionally crafted with its own unique story, combined with vibrant flavors sourced from trusted local partners.

It’s hard to beat an afternoon of picking fresh flowers and produce followed by an evening savoring fresh-baked pizza and craft cocktails as the sun sets into the Gulf. That’s a date night we’ll sign up for any day.

Spring is in the air (and on the table)

Throughout the spring (January-May), Ananda Farm will be showcasing seasonal specialties not just in food and drink, but in their immersive experiences spread throughout the property. The benefit of eating, drinking and playing at a place the grows all of its own products means you’re getting the freshest and most seasonable dishes, drinks and farm experiences possible.

If you really want to dive into the horticultural experience (or just see some cool stuff you won’t find elsewhere in the region), be sure to visit the Exotic Fruit Farm, where you can learn about the journey from seed to harvest with offerings like Dragon Fruit and Miracle Fruit.

Spring hours for Ananda Farm are Fridays from 3 pm – 8 pm, Saturdays from 10 am – 8 pm, and Sundays from 10 am – 7 pm. Learn more and get tickets for your Ananda Farm experience at anandafarm.com.
