Tampa is a melting pot of flavors, and one of the most exciting new additions to the foodie community is Aji Limo Peruvian Cuisine. The new location at 3306 W Spruce Street is serving up heartwarming recipes at reasonable prices, and wowing guests with 5-star service.
Their menu is inspired by the food from the streets of Jesús Maria, markets in Cusco, and restaurants in Miraflores. In the late 1850s, Chinese immigrants brought to Peru their cooking technique and style defined by Cantonese elements fused with traditional Peruvian ingredients and traditions, write the owners on Aji Limo’s website. “The wok hei technique is regularly manifested in our most popular stir-fry dishes while the Peruvian tradition of cooking fresh seafood in concentrated lime and spices remains fresh and flavorful in our kitchen.”
What sets Ají Limo apart from the rest is the high-quality products they use for their dishes and drinks. Aji Limo believes that in order to provide amazing, delicious food and craft cocktails they need to start from the source and serve high-quality items. They strive to provide every guest with an authentic Peruvian experience through great service and high-quality foods and beverages.

Aji Limo delivers authentic Peruvian flavor to Tampa
Traditional Cantonese ingredients such as sesame seed oil, oyster sauce and soy sauces are present in the dishes crafted at Aji Limo. Native Peruvian elements like peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, onion and lime are deliberately tossed together with your choice of meat, chicken or seafood presenting diners with flavorful, well-balanced, world recognized cuisine.
“Great environment, even better food. Lomo Saltado was incredible and the Pasta with Steak had elements of tasty Asian noodles while still holding the beloved flavors of Latin American cuisine,” wrote Brendan G in a recent 5-star review of the restaurant.
The top dish on this menu has to be the golden fried whole red snapper. The Peruvian pesto sauce, tropical shrimp ceviche, fried calamari, and steak-stuffed plantain cups are also crowd pleasers. Save room for dessert here because the passionfruit pie and fresh orange cake look divine.
