EMOTO Supply Co. will expand to Water Street Tampa, adding a new location inside Asher (1050 Water St). The premium electric bike and lifestyle apparel company, already popular in downtown St. Petersburg, aims to offer a fresh experience blending sustainable commuting and fashion-forward style. The new store will merge its electric bike dealership with a lifestyle boutique, providing a unique space for shoppers.

Founder and Managing Partner Michael Joyce expressed enthusiasm about the expansion. “We are thrilled to launch our second store at Water Street Tampa,” Joyce said. “With Water Street being the first WELL-certified community and their vision to expand bike usage throughout the neighborhood, we could not have found a better location.”

Electric bike hub powers up in a WELL-certified community

Water Street Tampa, North America’s first WELL-certified community, prioritizes health and wellness in urban design. The International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) awarded the certification, recognizing Water Street Tampa’s commitment to enhancing well-being. From sustainable building materials to outdoor spaces that promote physical activity, the area aims to improve residents’ quality of life. EMOTO Supply Co.’s focus on sustainable transportation aligns seamlessly with this mission, encouraging a healthier, more connected urban lifestyle.

The new store will feature an array of premium e-mobility brands, including CAKE Electric Motorcycles, Land Electric Motorcycles, Gazelle Electric Bikes, and others. Customers can personalize their rides with a variety of accessories, enjoying a sleek shopping experience inspired by Tesla stores. Beyond electric bikes, the store will carry unisex essentials from brands like Deus Ex Machina, Johann Wolff, and Marrin Castello, offering a curated selection that emphasizes quality.

Working to ease traffic congestion in Tampa

Joyce envisions EMOTO’s new location as a catalyst for cultural change. “We’re focused on building a community in the downtown core that eases traffic congestion and parking challenges while offering our customers the same sense of freedom they first experienced when learning to ride a bike,” he added.

As part of its commitment to the community, EMOTO Supply Co. will partner with Clothes to Kids for Hurricane Milton relief efforts. For every shirt purchased through the end of October, the company will donate a shirt to a child in need.

The new location plans to soft open on Saturday, October 19, with a grand opening event set for early November.
