It’s happening. The iconic Missy Elliott is hitting the road this summer and will perform live at Amalie Arena in downtown Tampa on July 24. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 12, at 10am. The artist will be joined by Ciara, Busta Rhymes and Timbaland.
In 2019, Missy Elliott made history as the first female rapper to be honored by the Songwriters Hall of Fame and was awarded the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Jump to 2021, she received yet another accolade: a star on the illustrious Hollywood Walk of Fame. And in 2022 her hometown of Portsmouth, Virginia, paid tribute by naming a boulevard after her. Last year, she cemented her legacy as the first female hip-hop artist to be enshrined in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
A powerhouse in the music industry, Missy Elliott is a four-time Grammy Award-winning rapper, singer, songwriter, dancer, and producer. Renowned for her trailblazing contributions to hip hop, she’s redefined the genre with a slew of iconic hit singles, including “Get Ur Freak On,” “Work It,” “Lose Control,” and “Gossip Folks.”
