Tampa Bay’s market scene is on fire. Peruse our winter market guide to see the sheer volume of local shopping opportunities in Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater, and beyond. In 2023, a new addition to the roster arrived in the form of Mossy Hollow Market. The experience is described as an enchanted forest-themed vendor market at Metals and Nature (1501 W State Road 60).

The next installment of the market is set for February 24 from 2pm-8pm. All vendor spots have been filled for this market, but we recommend you follow Mossy Hollow on Facebook for updates on future events/vendor opportunities. There is a ticket price of $5 per adult at the door (cash and Venmo will be accepted). Kids under 12 enjoy free admission with a paid adult.

For visitors, costumes are highly encouraged. Step through a woodland portal on the eve after the full snow moon and into a magical forest village of fairies, mushrooms, and sprites. Visit artists and vendors as you meander through the interactive woodland experience, complete with a potions bar, stargazing tent, photo op, wishing cauldron, wandering characters, and festive music.

An immersive enchanted experience in a Plant City forest

“The market will be something entirely different for Tampa Bay: An enchanted forest-themed curated vendor market, featuring dozens of highly curated unique artists and makers,” writes organizer Shannon Crosby. “All set against the backdrop of Metals & Nature’s beautiful 2-acre nature reserve oasis. The event is free for guests with free parking, and family-friendly. We encourage attendees to dress as their favorite magical creature, animal, or fungi!”

Crosby also operates the spooky pop-up plant shop The Citrine Ghost and runs the Instagram Weird Florida, and the co-organizer (also named Shannon) is a trained chef and owns The Fae Way, selling handmade fairy houses.
