The Henry Plant Museum (401 W Kennedy Blvd) at the University of Tampa is one of the most gorgeous venues in the region. It’s a cultural gem that offers a unique look at local history. Every year during the holiday season his local museum gets all decked out for tranquil Victorian Christmas Strolls. 
This is the 42nd year the museum has hosted these strolls. What started as a small, three-evening event has grown over the past four decades into a month of extravagance and grandeur. Allowing visitors a glimpse into the magic of Christmas past, this holiday experience is a wonderful way to celebrate all the season has to offer. Decorations – large and small – include visitor favorites from past years as well as new displays and themes that are sure to amaze and enthrall.

Visitors can enjoy an early and less crowded view of decorations between November 24–30. The full Victorian Christmas Stroll experience runs December 1 – December 23 from 10am–5pm, with extended hours on weekends until 8pm. Tickets can be reserved in advance online. 
The Victorian Christmas Stroll celebrates the warmth and spirit of an old-fashioned holiday, while encouraging a sense of community. Complimentary cider and cookies will be served on the veranda each day while holiday music floats through the air. Guests can enjoy live music on weekend evenings from 6pm-7:45pm, and enjoy shopping in a Victorian atmosphere in the Museum Store to find that perfect gift and unique treasure for the season.
