Pups Pub will grand open on December 12 and 13 at 2202 West Kennedy Boulevard — and the full liquor indoor-outdoor dog bar features a fresh mural by Painkiller Cam (as seen in our featured image).
The concept was co-founded by Alex Wright and Sheila Suhar.

Meet the owners of Pups Pub
Here’s a bit about the owners from the Pups Pub website:
The US Air Force brought Alex to Tampa from RI and now he refuses to leave… He attended the University of Tampa upon completion of his enlistment while also working for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Orlando Magic over the years. He hopes to share his love for dogs, sports and partying with you all!
Alex’s better half and brains of the operation; Sheila, brings over 10 years of service industry experience here in the Tampa market. Now a proven Senior Associate with Hybridge Commercial Real Estate, she is a bar/restaurant placement and expansion expert. Both pups and people typically like her most!

Become a member of Tampa’s new dog bar
You won’t need a leash to bring your pup here. Just sign up for a membership with the bar to enjoy all that it has to offer. Dogs must be non-aggressive, and have up to date vaccinations: rabies and parvo.
Dogs over one year old must be spayed and neutered.
The indoor-outdoor dog bar will host a VIP PAWty on December 12, and you can register on the Pups Pub website.
You of course don’t need a pup to visit the bar — you just need to be a dog lover.
