You’re looking good, Tampa. That could be due to the arrival of Warby Parker at the International Mall. The industry disrupting eyewear shop, which began as online-only, has branched out to smaller pop ups.
Warby Parker first arrived in Tampa back in 2016 with a showroom inside of Oxford Exchange. The owners fell in love with the city (can you blame them?) and decided to set up a permanent location at the bustling International Mall.

Bringing chic glasses to the International Plaza
The eyewear shop partnered with Berlin-based artist, Agostino Iacurci, to create a vibrant mural “showcasing a kaleidoscopic cast of characters all sporting good-looking glasses,” according to a release.
To celebrate the grand opening on November 16, Warby Parker will be gifting exclusive “Nice to See You” totes and serving custom Warby blue doughnuts from Dough.
Store to feature the Halo Collection
Warby Parker’s retail location will feature its Halo Collection, developed in-house for over five years. The intentionally oversized lenses feature a circular gradient with dark-toned edges that fade toward the center, as opposed to the traditional top to bottom, horizontal gradient. The four-piece collection includes an assortment of vintage shapes, all united by a top wire hand-wrapped in colorful genuine leather.
Kids frames will also be available in the shop.
Shop does accept insurance
Does Warby Parker accept insurance? Yes. According to a release from the company, they’re now in network with UnitedHealthcare and Spectra – eligible members may be able to get a new pair of glasses for just their copay. They also accept other forms of insurance, FSA, and HSA too.
