Ybor City is gearing up to light up for the holidays with the 14th annual Ybor City Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 20 at 1600 E. 7th Ave., from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This cherished event officially launches the festive season in one of Tampa’s most historic districts, enhanced by Ybor’s newly bricked streets for an added holiday touch.
The event will feature Mayor Jane Castor leading the crowd in a countdown to light the Christmas tree. Once illuminated, the tree will transform Ybor City into a magical winter wonderland, with occasional appearances of fake snow adding extra charm to the evening.
