Wild Fork Foods opens new grocery store in South Tampa

Wild Fork Foods continues its expansion across the Tampa Bay region. It recently opened a store in Westchase, and is set to open another location down the line in St. Petersburg. The grocery giant’s new South Tampa store located at 824 S Dale Mabry Hwy officially opened in May, and a major grand opening and ribbon cutting is scheduled for July 21.

Wild Fork is a meat and seafood market specializing in quality proteins from everyday beef, pork and chicken, to alligator and A5 Wagyu, all at affordable prices. The market sources beef from slow feeders in Nebraska and Colorado. This region produces some of the top cattle in the world due to the cold climate and lush grasslands.

They age all of their beef in a climate controlled environment for 17 days, which enhances the flavor and tenderness, and age their pork for a minimum of 8 days. Wild Fork blast freezes its meats at -40 degrees Fahrenheit and maintains them at frozen temperatures throughout the supply chain. In addition to shopping in-store, the concept also offers pickup and same day delivery.

“With more than 700 products on offer we believe that our store will be a welcome addition to the community.” said CEO Vincent Trius. “Wild Fork can provide the centerpiece dish to every home-prepared meal – from weeknight dinner staples like chicken breasts and ground beef to special occasion dinner party ingredients like organic rack of lamb, 100% Japanese A5 Wagyu and Ahi Tuna Saku Block. We also have side dishes, ready to eat meals, vegetables, breads, desserts, spices and sauces to go along with every meal, all at competitive prices to provide convenience without compromise.”
