Tampa Bay Blues Festival
The Tampa Bay Blues Festival is coming back to St. Petersburg’s Vinoy Waterfront Park for its 23rd consecutive year! Join rock, soul, jazz and general music lovers April 6-8 for a rockin’ good time at one of the nation’s biggest and most popular blues festivals! Legends of Dueling Pianos at 5 Star Dive Bar
Head out to 5 Star Dive Bar and enjoy a show from the Legends of Dueling Pianos. Tickets cost $10 and are available in advance or at the door. There’s even an option to purchase a VIP pass for $50 that includes entry for 4, a table with guaranted seating and a complementary bottle of Prosecco. Aries Spears at Tampa Improv Comedy Club (Friday-Saturday)
With his quick wit, charisma and ferociously aggressive style of comedy, Aries Spears has earned critical acclaim and high accolades that have led him to work with Bill Cosby and star in Fox’s Mad TV. He has also starred in feature films, appearing on a number of national talk shows, and continually touring the country with his stand-up, His talents are becoming recognized and appreciated throughout the entertainment industry. Easter EGGstravaganza at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay
The Easter Bunny will be visiting the Humane Society of Tampa Bay from 11am-2pm to pose with pups and help them hunt for eggs! There will also be egg hunts and crafts for two-legged kiddos, dog, cat, and rabbit adoptions, a bunny petting pen, cotton candy, games, face painting, Hoppin’ bounce house and lunch from the grill. Cuban Sandwich Festival at HCC’s Ybor Campus (Saturday-Sunday)
The Cuban Sandwich Festival is this weekend! Featured as one of the top 10 food festivals in Florida, this event attracts many visitors from in and out of town. If you come on Saturday, you’ll have an opportunity to watch how the world’s biggest Cuban sandwich is made, check out the kids’ Cuban sandwich showdown as well as see how the sandwich is made in different parts of the world from Tennessee, New York and Florida to London and South Korea. Sunday’s festivities will include an easter egg hunt for the kiddos starting at noon and many opportunities to taste Cuban sandwiches, so come hungry.
