Tampa’s Pirate Water Taxi was an instant hit with Tampa residents and visitors. The yellow boats offer fun and easy connections from the Tampa Convention Center and Amalie Arena to Curtis Hixon Park and Ulele in Tampa Heights. Travelers can venture to Davis Islands and Harbour Island, as well.

The company looks to further activate the city by offering direct routes to Lowry Park Zoo. Pirate Water Taxi services 4 roundtrips a day, 7 days weeks to the zoo from. The ride from the Tampa Convention Center to Lowry Park takes 45-50 minutes.

Rides depart from the Convention Center at 10am, noon, 2pm and 4pm. Return rides depart at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm. Riders can get a combo pass good for a ride on the water taxi and admission to the zoo for $42.95, or $30.85 for children. Tickets for just the water taxi are $18 for adults and $12 for children.
