Tampa International Airport (TPA) has been ranked as the second-best large airport in the U.S. for customer satisfaction, according to the 2024 North America Airport Satisfaction Study. This annual study evaluates airports in categories based on passenger volume, with Tampa competing in the large airport category, which includes airports handling 10 to 32.9 million passengers annually.
The top spot went to John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California, with Kansas City International Airport rounding out the top three. TPA continues to shine for its commitment to enhancing the passenger experience, with plans for major growth on the horizon. The airport is gearing up for a multi-billion-dollar expansion, including the highly anticipated Airside D project, which promises to expand the range of routes and services offered.
