Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas will headline the next made-for-TV The Match event, which is scheduled for Pelican Golf Club in Belleair on December 10. McIlroy is currently ranked as the world’s No. 1 player by the PGA Tour.
This will be Woods’ third appearance in The Match. Woods participated in the inaugural event against Phil Mickelson in November of 2018. The iconic sports figure returned in 2020 to team up with Peyton Manning to beat rival Mickelson and Tom Brady in a charity challenge.

The lineup was first reported by The Fried Egg, with Golf Digest later confirming it.
in 2022, 46-year-old Woods remains one of the sports world’s biggest celebrities, even if his peak performances are behind him.
Golf Digest reports that the event will be televised by Turner Sports. The exhibition will last 12 holes, according to Golf Digest.
The Pelican Golf Club is located at 1501 Indian Rocks Road in Bellair, Florida, which is a reasonable drive from Tampa.
