Tampa is a top city for cat lovers according to a new study from Lawnstarter. The city ranks high for cat boarding options per 100,000 residents, and cat-friendly hotels per 100,000 residents. The only Florida city to rank higher than Tampa overall is Orlando, which was named the most cat-friendly city in America.
To come up with their ranking, Lawnstarter compared the 200 biggest U.S. cities based on four categories. They looked at access to animal shelters, vets, and cat-friendly housing. Lawnstarter also factored in affordability, among 15 indicators of feline-friendliness.
