Tampa Theatre (711 N Franklin St), a beloved icon in the heart of downtown, continues to captivate audiences with its magical atmosphere and top-tier popcorn. Stepping into this historic landmark feels like entering a different era, where intricate architecture and twinkling stars on the ceiling make every visit an experience. Families can share that wonder with a new generation this April as the theatre rolls out its Family Favorites classic movie series, presented by TECO.

While Tampa Theatre regularly features family-friendly films during summer and holiday seasons, this series specifically caters to parents eager to introduce their children to the classics they grew up with. Jill Witecki, the Theatre’s Vice President and Director of Marketing, emphasizes the importance of these screenings. “We want parents to be able to introduce their kids to some of their own favorite movies from childhood and experience that nostalgia of seeing them on the big screen again.”
