Tampa’s huge Santa Fest Parade returns this weekend

It’s the most wonderful time of the year in Tampa! Join the city and a bunch of Santas for Tampa’s major holiday celebration and tree lighting. The event occurs on Saturday, December 2 from 1pm-8:30pm. The festivities take place at Curtis Hixon Park (600 N Ashley Dr).

Attendees will enjoy photos with Santa, and lots of family fun. At 6 pm join the Mayor for the Tampa’s Tree Lighting Ceremony followed by a movie in the park.

Tampa Mayor Jane Castor will lead the countdown and light the seven beautiful Christmas Trees in Curtis Hixon Park. After the trees are lit, guests can snuggle up and enjoy a movie in the park. This year’s movie, Disney’s Frozen is presented by the Gasparilla International Film Festival.

The fun all takes place in front of Winter Village in the Park. This celebration includes an ice skating rink, a local vendor village, igloos, food and drink vendors, and curling rinks.
