We. are gearing up for a new fall and holiday season, and three major hubs in the city of Tampa are hosting big job fairs ahead of a hopefully busy end of the year.
Tampa International Airport Job Fair
September 14
9am-12pm
Main terminal event space at TPA

Southwest Airlines, the Transportation Security Administration and FedEx are among more than 20 businesses currently slated to participate in the event. These employers are looking to fill about 445 positions to help with the upcoming increased holiday passenger traffic at TPA.
Some companies will conduct on-site interviews and applicants may be hired on the spot, so job seekers should bring two forms of identification. No RSVP is required to attend the event. Free parking will be available in the Economy Parking Garage; take the SkyConnect train to the Main Terminal for the event.
AMALIE Arena and Lightning Job Fair
August 22

Vinik Sports Group will host a hiring event on August 22 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on the main concourse at AMALIE Arena. Interested applicants are asked to arrive and enter through Gate B and parking will be available in the Green Lot at no charge. Once parked, candidates are instructed to go up the main staircase on Ford Thunder Alley to the Gate B doors.
The hiring event is being held to fill positions for Tampa Bay Lightning and AMALIE Arena and will be hiring for a number of positions in various fields. Starting rates will be:
- Plaza: $13.50/hr
- Retail: $13.50/hr
- Ticket Office: $13.00/hr
All positions are part-time and offer competitive hourly wages with incentives.
ZooTampa Job Fair
September 5
9:30am-1:30pm

ZooTampa has multiple opportunities available in various departments, such as food and beverage, park operations, events team, retail, guest services, and more. There are plenty of full-time, part-time, and seasonal job opportunities for people looking to have fun while securing a future for wildlife.
