We love empanadas, and finally we are getting a celebration dedicated to the steamy, crispy, savory snacks. The inaugural Tampa empanada festival is set for April 8 at Common Dialect Beerworks (5023 N Florida Ave) from 12pm-7pm. Good news, everyone, this event is totally free to attend. The celebration is presented by Brewed Life Festivals, renowned for their myriad food-centric festivals in the Tampa Bay region.

One vendor we are quite familiar with is Stuft Gourmet Foods – these legends whipped up a Caramelized Apple Whiskey Flambé and Brie Cheese hand pie Dusted with Cinnamon Sugar. Other teased menu items include shredded beef, smoked pork, seasoned chicken, and sweet ripe banana empanadas.
