Let’s go Bolts! The Tampa Bay Lightning‘s regular season begins October 12 and they’re celebrating with a big concert and community event in Ford Thunder Alley – and the fun include a Tampa native who also happens to be a Billboard chart-topping artist.
Tampa’s own Doechii will take center stage at GAME ONe Opening Day 2024 with a special music performance on Ford Thunder Alley. This free concert promises to be a highlight of the day-long celebration marking the start of the Tampa Bay Lightning’s 2024-25 season.

Doechii takes the stage in Thunder Alley
The rising star recently announced her “Alligator Bites Never Heal” tour, which follows the release of her critically acclaimed mixtape from Top Dawg Entertainment/Capitol Records. The tour kicks off October 11 in Atlanta, with stops in New York City, West Hollywood, and international shows in Berlin, Paris, London, and Amsterdam.
GAME ONe 2024 offers fans an unforgettable experience, packed with live entertainment, giveaways, and surprises. Starting at 3 p.m., Ford Thunder Alley will feature food trucks and beverage specials, including 50% off beer, soda, water, and snacks. The Kids Zone on Channelside Drive will offer family-friendly activities like face painting, balloon animals, and ball hockey.
Be there for the blue carpet walk
Fans can also catch the return of the Lightning’s blue carpet walk at 3:45 p.m., followed by Doechii’s performance at 4:45 p.m. Those without game tickets can enjoy an exclusive watch party on Ford Thunder Alley, with a post-game party set to follow at 10 p.m., weather permitting.
