The Tampa Bay Lightning are set to kick off the 2024-25 season with a host of exciting new features aimed at enhancing the fan experience. As fans approach the arena, they’ll be greeted by a $6.5 million digital video wall, the largest in Florida. This high-tech addition boasts cutting-edge LED lights and 3D capabilities, ensuring a stunning visual experience both before and after games.
The team has also introduced a giant, golden Bolts logo at the entrance, offering visitors the perfect backdrop for Instagram-worthy photos. An elevated DJ booth, complete with dynamic lighting, will add to the pre-game energy, while 16-foot kiosks are being installed along Channelside Drive and Water Street to further enhance the atmosphere.

New food hall coming soon to Amalie Arena
Inside the arena, the former Firestick Grill is being transformed into a $2.5 million food hall. This shift from a traditional sit-down restaurant to a more dynamic, food-centric space will provide fans with a variety of culinary options, creating a more flexible and casual dining experience.
One of the most meaningful changes this season is the “Bolt for Life” initiative. For the first time in franchise history, the names of over 6,000 season ticket holders, partners, and suite holders will be etched directly into the Lightning logo at center ice. This gesture not only pays tribute to the team’s most loyal supporters but also underscores their vital role in the ongoing success of the franchise.
