This position reports to the Cheerleading & Mascot Manager. Captain Fear is a part time position that serves to promote Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home games, as well as in the Tampa Bay area. The mascot performer must be an upbeat, outgoing individual with the ability to interact with all types of people.

“Captain Fear is a vital component of the in-game experience at Raymond James Stadium…Candidates must be comfortable performing regularly in front of thousands of fans,” writes the Tampa Bay Bucs organization in the job listing.
Skills required for the job include the ability and desire to be creative, zany, and fun-loving, a positive and energetic personality, great communication skills and punctuality.
Dance experience is welcomed, and any previous experience being a mascot is preferred. The job requires dancing, running, lifting, throwing, standing and working outside for extended periods of time in costume.
