Tampa’s grocery game continues to expand. Publix continues its expansions into Tampa’s most bustling downtown neighborhoods, and now New Tampa will have a pivotal grocery store all its own. Additionally Tampa Heights, the district bursting with a massive food hall, residences and a even a paddle board shop, will have a Sprouts Farmers Market in 2021. The company also plans opening a store in Westchase this fall, according to the Business Observer.
How soon will the New Tampa store open?

August, 12, according to a press release from the grocery giant. Sprouts New Tampa shop will be located at 8620 Hunter Village Road.
Sprouts originally revealed its plans for Tampa Heights more than a year ago.
We were first alerted to the news courtesy of a post by URBN Tampa Bay on Facebook, which showed a proposal from SoHo Capital at “the block bound by Oak, Tampa, 7th Avenue, and Highland Avenue.”
The developer revised its original plans, according to a report by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. New plans call for 273 new apartments, 153 hotel rooms, 8,664 square feet of retail and 1,433 parking spaces.
