Water Street Tampa just enjoyed two major debuts. Cru Hospitality Group, parent company of Cru Cellars, is expanding its brand, and has opened two concepts in Water Street Tampa — Wine on Water and Small Giant This follows the recent debut of their Champagne bar concept, Bouzy, in Hyde Park Village. Found in the up-and-coming neighborhood, these localized destinations will showcase some of the best wines at Wine on Water and dining options at Small Giant. The adjacent concepts are located on Water Street on the bottom floor of Cora, one of the neighborhood’s three residential buildings.

“We’re beyond thrilled to expand our brand into such a strong community,” said Jennifer Bingham, Owner and Sommelier at Cru Hospitality Group. “We know that these two concepts will quickly become staples to residents and visitors of Water Street Tampa and we look forward to enhancing the neighborhood with new and unique options.”

A new wine garden coming to Water Street Tampa

Wine on Water (1057 Water St) is a modern wine and spirits shop featuring over 250 selections, including familiar favorites with a focus on distinctive small-production wines. Top international distillery and brewery brands will be highlighted alongside small batch offerings. In addition to retail opportunities, guests can enjoy a rotating by-the-glass list in the outdoor patio area. Wine on Water will feature 18 patio seats, as well as an indoor tasting table with nine seats for guests. Operating hours will be 11am to 10pm daily. The two concepts are connected, so you can enjoy a meal at Small Giant and walk straight through to the dreamy bottle library.

This concept will cater to the community through its elevated space ideal for private events, its support for sustainable and organic wineries and online ordering featuring neighborhood delivery. Locals can come together in the space for an extensive series of educational classes and tastings offered for both new and seasoned wine enthusiasts throughout the year.
