Sip & Dry, a brand new blow dry bar is opening in the burgeoning Water Street neighborhood. Sip & Dry Blow Dry Bar is a St. Pete-based business looking to expand its footprint in the region. Strategic Property Partners just announced the signing in Via Corazon, across from the Cora residential development and on the ground floor of the East Cumberland Avenue parking garage in Water Street Tampa. Sip & Dry, a blow dry bar and makeup salon with an existing location in nearby St. Petersburg, is slated to open in the mixed-use district later this year.
The new location will be Sip & Dry’s first in Tampa and will add a new offering to Water Street Tampa’s retail landscape as more residents, visitors, office tenants, and USF medical school students continue to move into the district.

“After establishing a successful customer base in St. Pete, we saw a great opportunity to expand and provide Tampa residents with their own top-of-the-line blow dry bar,” said Nick and Blair Hiller, owners of Sip & Dry. “We are excited for our patrons to arrive in style, receive hair and makeup treatments, relax with a cocktail and head straight to their car without ever leaving the building or being exposed to the elements. Water Street Tampa is becoming the epicenter and focal point of Tampa Bay, and it is an honor to be a part of such an incredible project.”
Spanning 56 acres and connecting Tampa’s central business district to its waterfront, Water Street Tampa is a thriving live-work-play district in Downtown Tampa, bringing together new public parks, homes, offices, retail and dining. To date, SPP has signed leases with more than 30 retailers throughout Water Street Tampa, securing national, regional and local concepts ranging from a full-service grocery store to several popular fitness brands to a locally owned boutique.
