Siesta Beach, one of the best beaches in the world, reopens after Hurricane Milton

Siesta Beach, renowned as one of the world’s best beaches, has officially reopened following Hurricane Milton. As of Saturday, Oct. 26, Sarasota County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources has welcomed visitors back to Siesta Beach, Nokomis Beach, North and South Brohard, and Maxine Barritt Park on Venice Island. Access to these celebrated barrier islands, including Siesta Beach, is now open to the public.

In addition to the beach reopenings, select boat ramps at Nokomis Beach, Manasota Beach, and Blackburn Point will be operational. Visitors can check the latest updates on park and beach access by viewing the Park Status Report at sarasotacountyparks.com.
