The Punch Room at The Tampa EDITION (500 Channelside Dr) has been named one of the best bars in America by Esquire. The outlet praised the bar’s sophisticated nod to Tampa’s rich history of pirates and privateers, seamlessly blending a luxurious ambiance with Caribbean-inspired spirits.

It’s open Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm-midnight, and Friday and Saturday from 5pm-1am. You can learn more, and make reservations on EDITION’s website.

“Fitting for Tampa, with its history of pirates and privateers dating back to the seventeenth century, is a bar that leans into the more sophisticated spirits of the Caribbean. But this is a swank Edition, so you won’t find kitschy tropical tropes here. The lush room is a fusion of azure and chartreuse—settle in and explore. The drinks are delicate and revelatory; they’re tropical, but you’ll want to dress up for them. What you’re having: Ziggy’s Punch, which evokes eating jerk chicken on the beach,” Esquire’s review highlighted.

The Tampa EDITION is not only home to The Punch Room but also boasts the prestigious MICHELIN Key Hotel designation and features the MICHELIN Star restaurant Lilac, further cementing its status as a premier destination for luxury and culinary excellence.

Punch Room’s full cocktail menu is available online.
