Tampa is becoming a bit of a craft cocktail haven. Spots such as Ichicoro, The Franklin Manor, Ciro’s and Anise have all assisted in elevating visitors and residents standards when it comes to unwinding on the weekend. Now, there’s a new space downtown where craft spirit connoisseurs can imbibe in a classic atmosphere. Introducing the Hotel Bar.

Reinventing classic hotel drinks in a modern cocktail bar setting.
Nestled at 200 North Tampa Street, Hotel Bar is just a few steps away from the always bustling Tampa Riverwalk. Their cocktail menu includes:
The Moonwalk — Grand marinier, grapefruit, rosewater, bouvet rosé.
Hanky Panky — Ford’s gin, bonal, fernet, amaro Montenegro.
Corpse Reviver — St. George gin, cointreau, lemon, absinthe.
Hotel Nacional — Cana brava, giffard peche, pineapple, lime.
The menu offers savory fare to complement the artisanal drinks.
The cocktail spot also offers a selection of draft beers — Guiness Stout, Lagunitas Pils, Bell’s Two Hearted — and a long list of red and white wines. If you’re looking to nosh, Hotel Bar also features a selection of shareable plates and entrees.
The deviled eggs and salmon are divine, as is the roasted artichoke plate. Their cauliflower bisque is perfect for our currently “cold” climate and their locally made sour dough bread and butter is the perfect complement to a fine drink.
The interior features a mural painted by local artist Justin Nelson. Hotel Bar is open from 4pm-3am daily. Visit their website and Facebook for more details.
