Gangchu is the newest venture from Noel Cruz who many will know from the praised and award-winning Ichicoro Ramen restaurants. The Gangchu team worked swiftly to get the space ready for an early 2021 debut at 6618 North Nebraska Avenue, and beginning February 16 the public can begin savoring the flavors of this hotly anticipated endeavor.
The posted hours will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday from 4-11pm; Thursday-Saturday from 4pm-1am; and closed on Mondays.

“The wait is over…well, almost. We are announcing our OFFICIAL OPENING (Phase 1) is TUESDAY FEB 16th at 4pm!!” the owners wrote in an Instagram post. “All the Korean Fried Chicken goodness of your dreams is now a reality. The Gangchu Team appreciates all the patience and is pumped to bring you good times with chicken, beer and then some.”

Artists Soo Jin and Chad Mize both added art to the space.
