Tampa Food Truck Central is a new local food truck park located at 4908 E. Broadway Avenue. The concept soft launched in June, and is working toward a July 14 grand opening. It’s previous events have featured Made in Rich Roots, The Sweeter Side Bakery, Sweetee 813, and Clark’s Food Wagon. Sancocho y Leña Steak Grill, a Colombian and Venezuelan fusion food truck, is also set to join the park in August.
Food trucks in the area interested in renting a spot, or participating in events can send inquiries on the food truck park’s website. Once fully operational, the food truck park will be open Sunday through Thursday from 7am-10pm, and Friday and Saturday from 9am to 11pm. These hours of course are dependent on the food trucks involved and their own availability.

Those want to keep up with the food truck park can follow it on Instagram for event announcements, visiting food trucks, and more vendor opportunities.
The early assemblage of food trucks offers something for everyone. Made in Rich Roots, a veteran owned business, provided a bevy of caffeinated beverages for visitors. They also served a small amount of pastries, and are working on crafting tasty sandwiches.
Renee Young, owner of the Sweeter Side Bakery, brought mini dessert cups that were almost too pretty to eat for attendees of the soft opening. For the savory cravings, SweeTee Nyammings provided its famous jerk chicken. The truck also serves up dirty bird mac and cheese, oxtail loaded fries, and curry goat.
