There will be snow in South Town after all, Mr. Mayor Thistlewhite. OK maybe we’re not living in the world of “A Year Without A Santa Clause” but it is true that snow park is launching in the Sunshine State.
Currently billed as Snow Park, the concept will host an official name unveiling and groundbreaking ceremony next week.

The snow amusement park will be built in Dade City and operate a maximum of 120 days out of the year as long as the temps remain below 80 degrees. It was officially approved back in August of 2019 by the Board of County Commissioners.
Plans for the park include a large hill for snow tubing, and a snow play area. The park could open by the end of 2020 near 27839 St. Joe Road in Dade City.
More details, including site renderings, will be released next week. We’ll update the article as soon as more details are made available.
