One of the best furniture sales anywhere in Tampa Bay is returning to town this weekend. Dwell Home Market announced that its semi-annual Lawn Sale will take place on Saturday and Sunday, July 27 and 28, bringing some of the best showcases – and deepest discounts – of great furniture to Dwell’s main location at 4912 S Lois Ave.
The sale only happens twice per year, and it has become famous in its own right for its insane discounts for on trend furniture. Most of the furniture is made up of retired pieces from the Dwell Staging department, which is a service that stages homes, offices and more for temporary use. As a result, these pieces are all like new (many of them never even touched, outside of being brought in and out), and come at steep, steep discounts. This, of course, is what has made the sale such a popular one in recent years.
The Dwell Lawn Sale takes place on Saturday, July 27 from 11 am – 6 pm, and on Sunday, July 28 from 12-5 pm. If you’re truly eager to find the perfect pieces, we recommend arriving early. Lines typically begin forming around two hours before the doors open.
Access to the Lawn Sale is, of course, completely free, but there are a few rules to help support this popular event. All pieces are first come, first served, so nothing can be reserved in advance. Naturally, the sale is in person only, and all sales are final. And one of the best rules: there is no early entry, so if you want to be one of the first people in the door, all you have to do is arrive early.
One of our favorite parts of the sale is the sheer variety of pieces available. You’ll find beds and couches, of course, but given how wide-ranging the work of Dwell Staging is, there is almost no item you won’t find. Desks and dining tables, chandeliers and lamps, chairs and ottomans, patio and living room furniture – whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find it at the Lawn Sale.
