Duckweed Urban Grocery making a major expansion in Tampa
Duckweed’s Channelside store is located at 117 N 12th Street. Duckweed also has a shop in downtown Tampa at 803 North Tampa Street.
The launch of the Westshore Marina District location is part of a massive plan to elevate the concept:
“This is all part of the plan to grow the Duckweed brand and we are currently working on flagship locations at WestShore Marina District, with an interior that will elevate the design from the quirky urban look that defines the Channel District and Downtown Tampa storefronts, to a cleaner, more high-end look,” write the ownership team. “It will also include a liquor store that will offer residents of the surrounding communities an opportunity to purchase alcohol beyond beer and wine.”
Duckweed carries everything from light bites and snacks, to essentials like milk, eggs, sauces, oils, and fresh produce. The store also hosts Farmacy Vegan Kitchen.
Farmacy coming to Westshore Marina District
Farmacy’s donuts are an absolute revelation.
Those who are either vegan, gluten-free or both will rejoice with a glimpse at their menu. The Mediterranean salad is a quick, filling delight. Their sticky buns — gluten-free option available — offer a powerful punch of sweetness. They also bake myriad varieties of doughnuts with savory toppings — fruit loops are our personal favorite.
Creamy cashew mac and cheese, fruit parfaits, smashed avocado toast, banana apple bread and so much more are being whipped up daily at Farmacy. Keep up with the 100% plant based business by visiting their website and following them on Facebook and Instagram.
