It’s not secret that Tampa residents are Italian food enthusiasts. In 2019 and 2020 our city has been spoiled with exquisite new Italian Restaurant debuts. The spoils include Olivia, Forbici, La Dolce Vita, and the forthcoming Oronzo in South Tampa.
DeVito’s is the latest addition. DeVito’s Italian Specialties is an elegant, authentic, and modern Italian restaurant in Downtown Tampa.

The concept began serving Tampa Bay in mid-March. It began offering Sunday Italian Dinners in collaboration with The Oxford Exchange in April, and now is back to serving Downtown Tampa.
Crafted by James DeVito, employing his 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, DeVito’s features a menu full of Italian classics, served with a modern presentation.
The menu focuses on seasonality using only homemade ingredients. Some items on the menu include octopus carpaccio and orecchia di elefante, which consists of a pounded bone-in veal chop, arugula, tomato, and a lemonette dressing.
DeVito’s menu highlights authentic Italian cuisine prepared in a classical Italian style. Their ingredients are seasonal and local. This certainly is in the echelon of treat-yourself restaurants.
DeVito’s is located at 200 North Tampa Street. Follow the concept on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
