Daiso, the renowned global retail chain offering a wide range of affordable and unique products, officially opened on February 1. Hours before the official debut, a huge line formed around the building at Northdale Promenade (15702 N Dale Mabry Hwy), and judging from general reviews from the opening weekend, it was worth the wait.
The official store hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Since entering the US market in 2005, Daiso has continued to expand its global footprint while maintaining its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. The new Tampa location will feature an extensive range of products, including Japanese-inspired home decor, stationery, food, and more—a go-to destination for shoppers seeking accessible and innovative offerings.

Tampa will be Daiso’s first of two Florida shops
David Eggnatz, Vice President of Katz & Associates, who represented Daiso in the lease deal, expressed enthusiasm about the new store’s strategic location. “We are excited to be working with a strong company that is thorough in their expansion goals throughout Florida with a great outlook on future growth,” said Eggnatz. “This new store is strategically located in a strong center and top-tier market within the Tampa MSA.”
Brian Hector of Kite Realty, who represented the landlord in the deal, also played a key role in securing the lease. The opening of Daiso in Northdale Promenade is expected to create a fun shopping experience with its unique products and further enhance the retail landscape in Tampa.
