Inside Ciro's, Tampa's legendary speakeasy

Three Oaks Hospitality announced the permanent closure of Ciro’s, a  cherished speakeasy in Tampa. Since its inception in 2009, Ciro’s has been a favorite  among locals and visitors alike. Unfortunately, due to structural issues at The Bayshore Royal  building, where they lease space, it must close its doors.

“While it deeply saddens us to close Ciro’s at this time, we hope the HOA can find a way to make the improvements needed with our landlord so that we may re-open one day. We are actively seeking other locations and remain optimistic,” stated Chas Bruck, Founder and Owner  of Three Oaks Hospitality, “Ciro’s has been a staple in Tampa; it is the first prohibition-inspired  speakeasy in Tampa. It is beloved by many, and we are immensely grateful for the support and  memories shared within its walls.”

Memorabilia from the speakeasy will be auctioned off with proceeds going to the Children’s Dream Fund

Despite the closure of the speakeasy, Three Oaks Hospitality remains committed to upholding its legacy and spirit. Lovers and regulars of the cocktail lounge are invited to a special pop-up event at its sister concept, Jekyll, located in Hyde Park Village on May 8. Guests can expect to experience some familiar favorites while also experiencing Jekyll. Additionally, guests can bid on memorabilia from Ciro’s with all net proceeds going to the Children’s Dream Fund.

More information on the auction will arrive in the coming weeks. Follow Ciro’s on Facebook for updates.
