There’s no better time than Earth Day to get your feet on the ground, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy views of the water. This year, you can do it all for free with a few hundred of your best friends, as the Champs Sports Run Club powered by Adidas returns to the Tampa Riverwalk.
One of the best – and biggest – run clubs Tampa has ever seen, this event is completely free to join, taking place on Tuesday, April 22 from 5:30-8:15 pm outside Armature Works (1910 N Ola Ave). Interested runners can register here.

This is the third edition of Champs Sports Run Club in Tampa, after more than 1,400 runners registered for last July’s inaugural 5K, making it one of the most popular running events of the year in the region. This April’s event is expected to be even bigger, with tons of great perks.
The 3.1-mile run, powered by Adidas, borders the Riverwalk and laps around the Armature Works property, providing a beautiful backdrop for attendees. After the run, attendees will be treated to a host of post-run perks at the Armature Works promenade. Highlights include live DJ sets and the chance to win one of the $100 Champs Sports gift cards. Guests can also enjoy a complimentary bites and refreshments, free recovery amenities, exclusive prizes for FLX members, and an exciting opportunity to spin the prize wheel.
Free registration includes a Champs Run Club T-shirt (first come, first served); chances to win a $100 Champs Sports gift card (FLX members only); plus recovery amenities and bites and refreshments while supplies last, among much more. There will also be pairs of the new Adidas EVO SL on site available for purchase.
