Boozy Pig Butchery & Kitchen opening on Davis Island

The Boozy Pig is one of the top meat markets in Florida. This carnivorous hot spot is famous for its Italian Sausage, porterhouse steak, pork chops, and its weekend brunch. They current operate their butcher shop and restaurant at 3255 W Cypress Street in Tampa, but a new sign in Davis Island reveals that it’s expanding. The Boozy Pig is set to join Duckweed Urban Grocery at 302 E Davis Boulevard.

Davis Islands is in for a treat if the Boozy Pig brings its biscuits and thick pancakes to the new location. An official opening timeline is still TBA, but we anticipate an early 2023 debut. We’re hopeful that the Boozy Pig will also bring its meat vending machine to the new location.


Yes, you read that right: MEAT VENDING MACHINE. This allows the butchery to continuously serve the community-even after hours. “This machine allows us to sustain our whole animal butchery ethos as it gives us more opportunity to sell our ever growing line of local value added products,” wrote the owners when they first announced the vending machine. “You can find our same steaks, ground beef, burgers, fresh and smoked sausages, bacon, beef jerky, smoked snack sticks, and more available outside of our shop 24/7 & contact free.”

The machine is frequently restocked, and the owners provide updates on The Boozy Pig’s Instagram.

Boozy Pig also functions as a caterer, has hosted sausage making classes in the past, and offers market items such as raw cow’s milk and cream.
