Tampa is a beer lover’s paradise. The proof is in the brewing, y’all. We have Cigar City, we have 81 Bay, we have Bay Cannon, we have 7venth Sun, we have Ulele, and the list goes on. Next summer, the city of Tampa will welcome another new brewery to its sprawling trail. Blast off with Astro Brewing (sorrynotsorry).
The new tasting hub will open at 3329 South Westshore Boulevard in the former Jasmine Thai space, though they’ll only take over half of it. The owners hope to have the doors open by June 2020.

“We aim to be a very small neighborhood brewery offering quality ales and lagers to local folks,” wrote the owners in an Instagram message to ThatsSoTampa.com. “We will have a very small brewing system (3.5 barrel) one of the smallest in Tampa actually.”
Their small size will allow Astro Brewing to rotate beer rapidly, and experiment more. They plan to serve all of the beer they produce on site. That’s right, no canning, no bottling, no distribution. It’s a pure as it gets.
Keep up with Astro Brewing’s progress by following the brewery on Instagram, and Twitter.
