7th+Grove is bringing Southern Hospitality to Ybor

Eat. Vibe. Flourish. Yes, ma’am. That is the motto of new Southern enclave, 7^th+Grove located at 1930 E. 7^th Avenue. The eatery recently hosted an opening this past weekend serving up cocktails and small plates at their Summer Solstice Preview Event.

A Southern restaurant coming to Ybor

Dr. Vondalyn Crawford, Dr. Jamaris Glenn, and Khalilaa McDuffie came up with concept to 7^th+Grove after noticing that Tampa had a bit of a Southern feel, but very few authentic Southern restaurants.

Already, the its Instagram account is bursting with some mouthwatering menu options like collard green egg rolls and pimento cheese fritters.

Murals and Booze

Diners’ own Instagram accounts will probably also be bursting to life inside 7^th+Grove as the walls of this creative haven are done up in murals by Carlos Pon Paz of Paz Art Studio. Speaking of art, the cocktails have looked delicious from the group’s lead mixologist, Kelvin Williams.
