Tampa’s hotel scene is heating up. Epicurean Hotel (1207 S Howard Ave) in South Tampa brings together culinary ingenuity and 5-star hospitality. It’s situated right across the street from the legendary Bern’s Steak House and the newly minted Haven. It features a beautiful rooftop bar and a culinary theater, in addition to chic rooms. A major hotel expansion is also in the works. Epicurean is currently in the running for Travel + Leisure’s World Best Awards.
The survey will be live until Feb. 27, 2024, giving you just a couple more months to vote and show love for this Tampa gem. Epicurean has a slate of new events on the horizon, such as Wine Wednesdays, Bends, Bubbles & Brunch, and New Year’s Eve/Day dinners.

On January 4, Epicurean celebrates 10 years in the city of Tampa. Mix and mingle throughout Bern’s Fine Wine & Spirits, the Epicurean Theatre, Library, Élevage SoHo Kitchen & Bar, and Élevage Patio. The icing on the cake will be a preview of the hotel’s new expansion. Tickets to the event are $130 and can be reserved on Epicurean’s website.
Admission includes full bars, specialty cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and complimentary valet parking. Entertainment by Jariah Higgins.
