Slim Chickens, a chicken tender franchise, is set to open at 27244 Wesley Chapel Boulevard on August 31. The all natural chicken wings are famous for their buttermilk marinade. According to the restaurant owner, each wing is hand breaded in house — and the recipe behind the famous marinade is a secret.
As with any chicken tender spot worth its salt, Slim Chickens offers are huge variety of sauces, from mild to super hot. They have 17 sauces total to choose from.

In addition to big chicken tenders, this restaurant also offers chicken and waffles, buffalo chicken wraps, big crispy chicken sandwiches, and Slim’s chicken salad. They also have ample sweets such as strawberry milkshakes, chocolate brownie pudding jars, and Oreo cheesecake jar desserts. Slim Chickens continues Florida expansion
Wesley Chapel resident Charlie Blumberg and his partners, The Florida Slims Guys, are excited to introduce the better chicken brand to the growing community of Wesley Chapel. As a hospitality industry veteran who left to work in IT, Blumberg is excited to be back interacting with people and offering new experiences to residents in his community.
Not only is Blumgerg excited to bring a new food option to the area, but he’s also looking forward to providing job opportunities and kicking off careers for residents in the community. Aside from bringing its famous, delicious fried chicken and Southern-inspired sides to the area, the new Slim Chickens location in Wesley Chapel will also make a positive economic impact with over 75 new jobs anticipated for creation in the community. Blumberg and his team plan to expand the brand and have 5 additional locations that are scheduled to open within the next year in Florida.
