The Book Rescuers have opened a brand new used book warehouse in Pinellas Park, an easy drive over the Howard Frankland Bridge. Their giant used book warehouse features more than 1 mile of shelves housing more than 40,000 books, and prices titles from $1-$3. It’s the perfect spot to kick off your holiday shopping season.
You can find fabulous picture books and board books that will take you down memory lane, a wide variety of classic science fiction and fantasy titles, the best in crime fiction and thrillers, and astounding texts covering sociology, political science, and more.

The Book Rescuers’ hours are Monday through Saturday from 10am-7pm, and Sunday noon-5pm. They’re also self-proclaimed as the largest $1 used book popup in the state. You can keep up with the titles they have, and upcoming pop up events by following the Book Rescuers on Facebook and Instagram.

George Brooks and his wife run this operation together. Many of the titles they carry were destined for the trash or the shredder. They rescue these wonderful stories and give them new life, while providing affordable access to book for kids and adults across the Tampa Bay region.
