The makers of some of Tampa’s best beer are back in action, as Angry Chair Brewing announced its long-awaited re-opening date. After shutting down its original location at the beginning of the month, Angry Chair announced it will officially open the doors at its new, much bigger brewery and taproom this week.

The soft opening weekend will run Thursday – Sunday, August 25-28, at Angry Chair’s new home at 4101 N Florida Avenue. In their announcement, Angry Chair said to expect a full grand opening celebration in the coming weeks. Operations at the new facility are still getting rolling, as on-site brewing actually hasn’t even begun yet. But don’t worry – there will still be plenty of Angry Chair beer on tap.

Angry Chair’s new location also features a full food menu, replete with their takes on pub favorites to pair with the beer. Try the pretzel sticks with lager fondue, massive plates of wings, the highly-rated smashburger, or the bacon, egg and cheese tacos.

Bigger space provides more room for food and drink

While the soft opening has still yet to come, participants in Angry Chair’s members-only club The Sullen got a sneak peek already. The early reviews are that the beloved brewery has done a fantastic job in putting together its new space.

From one commenter: “This place is absolutely awesome from front to back! Food is awesome…I had the smash burger and it was great. Two fat daddy patty’s onions and cheese with the softest bun and fries….I am sure that the rest of the items on the menu are just as good knowing the time they put in. I was lucky enough to get a membership so I and everyone else that joined had a sneak peak of everything and it is Kick ass all around!”

From another member on facebook: “While there was something you just couldn’t help but love about the old spot, this new location gives a feel of being a bigger, better brewery that retains its true-to-craft vibes. I can’t wait to see how on-site fests might run with so much more space available.”

Angry Chair will be open at 410 N Florida Avenue on Thursday from 11 am – 10 pm, Friday and Saturday from 11 am – 11 pm, and Sunday from 11 am – 8 pm. Looking for more great breweries in Tampa? Check out our full guide.
