Wicked Oak BBQ might be the best BBQ joint in the city of Tampa, and it has grown from a food truck to a standout brick-and-mortar spot in the burgeoning Seminole Heights neighborhood. Felix “Bubba” Flores officially opened Wicked Oak’s restaurant in September 2020. If you do just one thing this week, make sure it’s getting the burnt ends on Friday. It’s pure savory candy.
On Monday, August 9, the restaurant will join Grow Financial Credit Union’s Grow On Us campaign. The restaurant will give out free Smoked Que-ban sandwiches with baked Beans, potato salad and a drink while supplies last.
