Free Run Club

Wednesday, April 11 at 7p.m. The Westchase Run Club meets weekly on Wednesdays. There is a complimentary buffet and drink specials for runners, plus members get a free Irish31 Running Club Dry Fit T-shirt after their 5th run! All ages and experience levels are welcome, and Orangetheory Fitness Westchase trainers are frequently on-site to help guide the run and answer fitness-related questions for runners.

Friday, April 13 from 7-9p.m. The return of spring means the return of Tampa’s longest running and most beloved concert series. Friday Concerts in the Park has music to satisfy all tastes – from country to jazz to swing to blues to classic rock.

Free 8 On Your Side Shred-A-Thon
Saturday, April 14 from 8a.m.-12p.m. You can bring up to 8 boxes of personal documents including paper and even electronic devices – electronic disposal is new this year courtesy of Stream Recycling! You’ll also be able to visit the partner fan area to have your photo taken with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleaders and Captain Fear. You’ll even get to meet some of the shining WFLA News Channel 8 personalities. News Channel 8 anchors and reporters, in addition to the hosts of Daytime, will be on-hand to meet and greet viewers and take pictures with you to share on your social media pages.

Free Farm Tour and Tea with the Farmers

Sunday, April 15 from 2-3p.m. Come meet the farmers with a spot of tea before for an informative tour of Sweetwater Farm. This walking tour will include information on what’s in season, how the small-scale farm operates, and organic agriculture.
