Zydeco Brew Werks has been recognized as one of the best brew pubs in America. It’s famous for its New Orleans-style brunch, top-notch brews, and second-floor event space with a balcony overlooking E 7th Avenue. Unfortunately, the local hangout will close its doors on January 21.
The owners announced the closure on Facebook on January 11.

“We are sorry to announce, we will be closing our doors at the Ybor City location on the evening of January 21st. We want to take this chance to thank our amazing staff, loyal customers, and supporters. We have enjoyed our almost 6 years here in Ybor City with its amazing history and culture but we are looking forward to the next chapter.”
Zydeco also has a space as the Museum of Science and Industry. It appears they’ll continue to sling po boys and craft beer at the educational hub.
We highly recommend you treat yourself to dinner/brunch at this exceptional spot before it officially closes. You can follow the brewery/restaurant on Facebook for updates. When you visit, make sure to tip well and show love for the fantastic staff.
