Family-run restaurant Zom Hee was just named the best Chinese restaurant in Florida by Love Food. Located at 9015 Park Blvd in Seminole, this restaurant has been a fixture in the community since 1985. It’s often described as Florida’s best, “with everything on the menu more than living up to expectations,” write the Love Food editors.
This restaurant is located in an unassuming strip plaza. That exterior belies a truly breathtaking dining room. The huge space has a warm, welcoming ambiance that, together with delicious and generously portioned dishes like pork lo mein and crunchy noodles, makes this a reliably good option.

Zom Hee specializes in Szechuan, Hunan, and Cantonese styles of cooking. The kitchen operates with this saying in mind: “… to eat well is to live well, with the quality and variety of what we eat reflecting our good fortune and the very essence of what the best of life is all about…”
Popular dishes include the Krab Rangoon, the chicken Szechuan, the lobster lo mein, fried bananas, pan fried dumplings, and their roast pork cantonese chow mein. You can see a full take out menu on the restaurant’s website. If you’re dining in, they have several special cocktails including their beloved Mai Tai and Blue Hawaii on the menu.
