Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is officially back! Winter Village includes local vendors, food purveyors, magical train rides, a lights display, an ice skating rink and a curling setup. Get on board with one of the most captivating winter Olympic sports; it’s essentially shuffleboard on ice. They’ve also announced holiday movies in the park.
Located along the Tampa Riverwalk, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is transformed with the sights, sounds and activities of the holidays for children and adults of all ages. Festivities include movies in the park on select nights presented by The Tampa Theatre, a viewing of the holiday lighted boat parade, the huge winter wonder ride on December 10, and pop up Santa Sightings.
Those who are ready to believe can hop aboard the Winter Village Express and experience a holiday trip through Tampa’s Downtown like no other. This interactive experience takes you from Whiting Station to the historic city of Ybor and back just in time for more Winter Village Tampa fun. Enjoy cookies and milk on board, as well as entertainment like group trivia, stories and sing-a-longs.
The Curtis Hixon Park Choo Choo will be your child’s new favorite holiday activity. Climb aboard for a 5-minute ride through the park to enjoy the lights and sounds of Winter Village. This free adventure is first come, first serve with no advance reservations.
