It’s time to celebrate with the Italian Club of Tampa in Historic Ybor City. The organization announced the spirited showcase known as Wine Fest of Italy will take place on April 24 at The Italian Club of Tampa (1731 E 7th Avenue). Wine Fest will represent Italy’s vast wine regions. A selection of wines from California’s regions will also be available for sampling for those in attendance. A Wine Shop will be available to conveniently purchase your favorites bottles after sampling them.
While attending, guests will be able to sample over 100 wines primarily from Italy. They’ll also get to taste Italian cuisine from some of the top chefs in the city of Tampa. Sip on complimentary craft cocktail samples, frozen bellinis and Prosecco.
Wine Fest and a Bocce celebration set for The Italian Club
Visitors will also be able to bid on over 100 featured items at the Silent Auction. Official details on participating caterers and restaurants will be announced at a later date.
The Italian Club is a historic social society in Tampa’s Ybor City neighborhood. The group’s building was designed by Tampa architect M. Leo Elliott. It is located at 1731 East Seventh Avenue. Santo Trafficante Sr. was a member of L’Unione Italiana, and he was buried in L’Unione Italiana Cemetery.
On April 23, the club will host a Bocce and Bellinis event. Official details on the games and featured vendors are still TBA.
